Crabtree Cottage
Crabtree Cottage has been awarded Four Star Grading by the English Tourism Council, and is the larger of the two cottages, sleeping six people in three bedrooms. It is double glazed, central heated and comfortably furnished with a mix of antiques and old pine.
The galley style kitchen is well equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A separate shared utility room houses a deep freezer, washing machine and ironing facilities. From the kitchen, four steps take you down to the Sitting/dining room, with its beamed ceiling, and French doors leading out into the garden. You can enjoy views from the sitting room, through a large arched window towards Carsington Water. A television with video, or a CD/tape/radio player are here for your entertainment after a days sightseeing. A comfortable double bedroom is situated on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor is a pretty twin bedroom, and a modern bathroom, with bath and shower over. Stairs lead from the kitchen to a further attractive twin bedroom.
